As a company founded by Veterans for Veterans, military principles are core to the way we work. We are resolute in our mission, grounded by a disciplined work ethic, emphasize teamwork, and above all, lead with integrity in everything we do.

Our Veterans apply their leadership, problem solving skills, tenacity, and real-world experience to transform how care and services are delivered, improving the lives of all who have served.

As a Veteran and father of a future Veteran, this is personal for me. I will have a life-long relationship with VA and now I have an opportunity to influence change for the better – it doesn’t get any more real than that.

—Jim McCartin, U.S. Army Veteran and Program Manager

VETERANS TRAINING

We take pride in building a workforce with a strong Veterans focus. AbleVets actively teams with Veteran organizations to identify, train, transition and hire military Veterans.

We work with partners to help Veterans expand their knowledge, capabilities and certifications in high-demand technical skills, such as cloud computing, positioning them for successful, long-term civilian careers. We also offer flexible job opportunities and short-term work arrangements to support military spouses.

TRANSITION SUPPORT

Our active Military Veterans Employee Resource Group is an employee-led community dedicated to:

  • Transition support for new hires
  • Building a strong internal support network
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Leading community outreach
  • Honoring all those who have served

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

With a mission to improve the health and welfare of those who have served, AbleVets employees support Veterans in the work we do every day, but also in our employee-led corporate responsibility programs.

Our employees work closely with local charities, such as Camp Courage and Military Moms, to support Active Duty, Veterans and their families. We regularly send care packages and organize volunteers for events such as Wreaths Across America.
