Certification reinforces AbleVets’ deep-seated commitment to hiring Veterans and their spouses
CHANTILLY, Va. – July 11, 2023 – AbleVets LLC, a leading provider of advanced health IT solutions for government, today announced that the firm has successfully completed the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program certification requirements and was V3 certified by the Governor’s Office and the Virginia Department of Veterans Services Commissioner effective May 1, 2019. Certification is active for five years.
The V3 Program, which to date has assisted nearly 47,000 Veterans find work, is a Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Veterans Services effort with a twofold mission: (1) educate employers on the value of hiring Veterans and (2) help businesses connect with Veteran candidates by implementing best practices and long-term Veteran hiring strategies. V3 certification encompasses a five-step process, including successful completion of a comprehensive training curriculum.
