Anna Steinberg brings two decades of experience in driving organic growth and expansion

CHANTILLY, Va. – March 7, 2023 – AbleVets LLC, a leading provider of advanced health IT solutions for government, today announced the appointment of Anna Steinberg as Vice President of Growth. In this role, Steinberg will envision, develop and execute the company’s growth strategy and go-to-market plan, including business development, capture and proposal management, partnerships and market expansion. She brings to the position a 20-year track record of successfully scaling organizations, applying an approach centered on understanding clients’ mission and technology objectives, building trusted advisor relationships and creating client value.

Steinberg comes to AbleVets from Booz Allen Hamilton where she served as a Principal, driving growth of its federal healthcare business. She oversaw multiple $100M+ portfolios in federal health and information technology, leading the strategy and delivery of the firm’s technology, cyber and analytics solutions to Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services and military health organizations. Throughout her 17-year tenure there, Steinberg also drove significant business growth in its IT, data analytics and life sciences markets and managed multiple $30M+ engagements in IT strategy and infrastructure, enterprise architecture, systems engineering and data platform development. Steinberg is a champion of initiatives focused on diversity, innovation and continual learning, and is an active volunteer and advocate for The Children’s Inn at NIH.

“AbleVets’ experience and value proposition have disrupted the federal healthcare IT market,” stated Steinberg. “I plan to continue the firm’s upward growth trajectory and, consistent with AbleVets’ mission, serve more Veterans and Active Duty with solutions that emphasize their health and clinical needs. It’s clear AbleVets has proven solutions and knows how to implement them at the enterprise level to get results. By extending this portfolio to new clients beyond the military community, we can help the government improve care delivery and outcomes for all citizens.”

Wyatt Smith, CEO and Founder of AbleVets, said, “AbleVets has made incredible strides in changing the way healthcare is delivered to Veterans and Active Duty over the past several years. Our success speaks to our understanding of the innate complexities of healthcare delivery and our ability to design and implement solutions that fully address these issues. Adding an individual of Anna’s caliber to our executive team reflects a steadfast commitment to our founding mission and a desire to apply our expertise in new markets to help government better serve all citizens.”

Smith continued, “Anna is an accomplished executive who understands how to approach and solve large-scale IT challenges. Her knowledge of the federal health ecosystem, combined with an ability to implement sustainable strategies that meet clients’ current and future needs, identifies Anna as the right leader to advance AbleVets’ growth agenda.”
